I wonder if we as a society are at a point where there needs to be a class, or at least a section of a class, in high school to teach young people how to be consumers of news. I fear we don't recognize good investigative journalism when we see it, and don't realize the slants that sites we frequent sometimes put on the news. Case studies of the slants of same news story by different reporters and web sites might be helpful.
